Sávio Moreira de Oliveira , better known as Savinho or just Sávio , is a Brazilian footballer who plays as a right winger . He currently plays for Manchester City .

The striker joined Atlético Mineiro in the U-14 youth category , where he quickly attracted attention. Savinho signed his first professional contract on June 18, 2020, agreeing to a three-year contract with a 60 million euro release clause . [ 2 ] With his good performance for Galo , the striker was called up by the Brazilian U-15 team to participate in the South American championship of the category, where he emerged champion. In 2020, Sávio was integrated into the transition team and began training frequently with the professional team. He made his debut for the main team on August 19, in a game valid for the Brazilian Championship , in a 4-3 victory against Atlético Goianiense , in Goiânia . In 2021, he was part of the team that won the black and white treble that season. In October, he was named by the English newspaper The Guardian as one of the 60 most promising young players in the world born before 2004. He scored his first goal as a professional on May 19, 2022, closing the score in a 3–1 victory over Independiente del Valle , at Mineirão , in a match valid for the Copa Libertadores . On June 30, Atlético announced the agreement for his transfer with City Football Group for 6.5 million euros, with another 6 million stipulated in bonuses. The young striker was initially allocated to Troyes , a club in France .

Savinho signed for PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands on 22 July 2022, arriving on a season-long loan . He made his debut on 6 August, coming off the bench and replacing Luuk de Jong . On that occasion, PSV beat Emmen 4–1 in a match valid for the Eredivisie . He finished his only season for the Dutch club with just eight appearances, scoring no goals and providing two assists.
He was announced by Girona on July 13, 2023, arriving on loan with an option to buy from Troyes, a French club in the City Group. He ended his spell with nine goals, distributed 10 assists and was elected the best under-23 player in the Spanish Championship.
On July 18, 2024, his signing by Manchester City was announced .

As a sign of motherly love, Nilma Pereira got a tattoo of Savio’s face on her left arm. The Tokka Tattoo shop in Lagoa da Prata, Brazil, designed her tattoos. Nilma Pereira is more than a mother, but Savio’s truest friend and first goddess.
