The transfer window has now closed but there is one story that continues to generate a lot of ink. Not because the deal fell through at the last minute, which happens quite often, but because the player in question, Ernest Nuamah , has been missing since he pulled out of a move from Lyon to Fulham on the last day of the transfer window.
British magazine Four Four Two reports this Saturday that the 20-year-old Ghanaian international “burst into tears” during his medical to play for the English team, where he would be coached by Marco Silva, and left the place without giving any reason, and has been missing ever since.

Not even Nuamah’s agent has been able to locate him since he failed to secure a deal that would have yielded €19 million for the Cottagers . L’Équipe explains that Lyon owner John Textor sent a message apologising to Fulham , but the Ghanaian has reportedly shown little interest in a move to the Premier League since the start of negotiations.

The Lyon player , who scored two goals and provided two assists in 33 games last season, was not called up by Ghana for this international break, which deepens the mystery even more, raising the question: where is Ernest Nuamah ?
