Premier League: Yankuba Minteh is a new signing for Brighton
Gambian forward belonged to Newcastle; ‘Seagulls’ paid 35 million euros for the player
Brighton announced on Monday the signing of 19-year-old Gambian forward Yankuba Minteh, who previously joined Newcastle United . The Seagulls had to pay 35 million euros to acquire the player’s services. Minteh has signed a contract until June 2029.
Despite having played for Newcastle , Minteh has never featured for the Magpies . The 19-year-old joins Brighton after a season on loan at Eredivisie runners-up Feyenoord , where he scored ten goals and provided six assists in 27 league appearances.
