Messi’s return could be delayed due to throat infection

Argentine has never been out of action for so long due to injury and could miss Inter Miami’s next game

For the first time in his career, Lionel Messi has spent two consecutive months without playing football due to injury, and that number could increase slightly, given that he could miss the next game, but for another reason.

The Argentine was expected to return to competition in the home match against Philadelphia Union, in the 28th round of the MLS, after missing both of Argentina ‘s games during this international break, but a throat infection could delay that return.
