Manuel Neuer breaks silence on Ter Stegen

Bayern goalkeeper talks about his successor in the German national team

Manuel Neuer spoke for the first time about Marc Ter Stegen , who succeeded him as the first-choice goalkeeper for the German national team since resigning from the mannschaft .

When asked what he wishes for his successor, he was categorical: “All the best, of course. Not just for him, but also for the other goalkeepers. I always keep my fingers crossed that we have strong goalkeepers.”

“We will definitely see each other again. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone and Marc too,” he added, referring to the Barcelona goalkeeper .
