Nicaragua Captain of the Nicaraguan national team denies having voted for Messi for ‘The Best’
Despite his name appearing on the list issued by FIFA, Juan Barrera assured La Prensa : “I didn’t vote for Messi.” It was Lionel Messi, who won the FIFA best player award, The Best 2019, having thus overcome competition from Virgil Van Dijk and Cristiano Ronaldo.
