PSG welcomes Portuguese ‘reinforcements’ for Arsenal game

PSG had some very good news this Sunday: five players trained again, after overcoming different problems that had prevented them from being in the game against Rennes , last Friday.

In images released on the club’s social media, it is possible to see that both Vitinha and Nuno Mendes returned to the pitch. The defender had been ill while the midfielder recovered from an ankle problem.

The good news for the Parisians didn’t stop there, as Donnarumma also returned to training on the pitch. The Italian goalkeeper had missed PSG’s last three games with a thigh injury, which led to Safonov starting in those games. Finally, Marco Asensio and youngster Désiré Doué also recovered from injury.

PSG are preparing to travel to Arsenal next Tuesday for the second round of the Champions League , a competition where they will also face Manchester City , Bayern and Atlético Madrid .
