Argentina released, this Wednesday, the list of players called up for the games against Venezuela and Bolivia, counting towards qualification for the 2026 World Cup .

Benfica captain Otamendi is one of Lionel Scaloni’s options, as is Messi , who is back in the Albiceleste squad. The big surprise is the call-up of Nico Paz, who is making his debut in the Argentina A squad. The 20-year-old midfielder has two assists in five games for Italian side Como, coached by Cesc Fàbregas.
