Como lost to Napoli 1-3 on matchday 7 of Serie A , but the Lombardy club were impressed by the hospitality and sportsmanship shown by their opponents, including their fans. They decided to reward them.

“Como would like to sincerely thank Napoli for the atmosphere at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium and the reactions of both fans after the game were unparalleled. That is why Como will buy a beer for every Napoli fan who comes to the Giuseppe Sinigaglia stadium for the second leg match in February 2025,” the club said on social media.

In the post, Como also highlighted the many compliments that Neapolitan fans gave to Cesc Fàbregas’ team. These fans will now be waiting for the 26th round of the championship, to receive their free beer, when they travel to Como’s ground.
