Premier League: 480 million euros were spent on agent commissions

Chelsea is at the top of the list, with Manchester City very close to the Londoners
The amount of money that Premier League clubs spent on agent commissions was disclosed in relation to their transfers from February 1, 2023 to February 1, 2024: 480 million euros.

Unsurprisingly, Chelsea , who signed the most during this period, is at the top of the list, having spent 87 million euros, practically a fifth of what they paid for the players to their respective clubs.

In second place is Manchester City , with 70 million euros paid for Matheus Nunes , Gvardiol , Doku , Kovacic and Echeverri, Guardiola’s five signings this season. Manchester United spent 40 million euros, Liverpool spent 36 million euros and Arsenal 28 million euros.

These 480 million euros spent on payments to intermediaries represent a large increase, compared to the previous year, in which 318 million euros were paid.
