France is one of the candidates for victory in Euro-2024 and it was recently revealed that, if the team actually wins the competition , which will take place in Germany between June 14th and July 14th, each player on the squad will receive a bonus of 470 thousand euros.
The information is provided by L’Équipe , which adds that the amount in question is slightly lower than that which the players received for 2nd place in the 2022 World Cup – around 490 thousand euros.
France is included in Group D of the European Championship, along with the Netherlands, Austria and Poland (winner of Play-off A to access the tournament).
The only times that the Gallic team was crowned as the best in Europe were in 1984 and 2000, and in the last edition of the competition, they fell in the round of 16 at the feet of Switzerland.
