FIFA President Gianni Infantino left a congratulatory message to Donald Trump on Wednesday, who was elected President of the United States for the second time.

“Congratulations, Mr. President! We will have a great World Cup and a great Club World Cup in the United States,” wrote the leader of the body that governs world football on social media, in an allusion to the competitions that will be played on North American soil in 2026 and 2025, respectively.
