Conference League: Rui Vitória suffers first defeat at Panathinaikos

Panathinaikos , coached by Rui Vitória , lost 1-2 away to Swedish side Djurgarden on matchday three of the Conference League .

Former Benfica player Filip Djuricic put the Greek side ahead, captained by Fotis Ioannidis , a summer target for Sporting. In the second half, Gulliksen (49′) and Hummet (74′) turned the game around and handed Rui Vitória his first defeat in charge of Panathinaikos .

Panathinaikos are 31st with just one point, while Djurgarden are 16th with four .
