In the four games in which Ruud van Nistelrooy replaced Erik Ten Hag as Manchester United ‘s coach , on an interim basis before Ruben Amorim’s arrival, Manuel Ugarte was a starter and a key player in the Dutchman’s unbeaten run during that period (three wins and a draw).
After the former Sporting coach’s decision not to keep him on his coaching staff, the Uruguayan midfielder left a message of farewell and thanks to the former PSV , this Tuesday.
“Thank you very much for everything, Ruud. I always wish you the best. It was a pleasure,” he wrote in an Instagram story .
