The forward, who was coveted by Sporting last summer, was clear: “My idol has always been Cristiano Ronaldo . I also really like Neymar , for his Brazilian magic, but I have always focused a lot on Cristiano.
The forward also spoke about the difficulties he faced at Camp Nou, after being bought from Athletico Paranaense and, just 16 games later, being released: «I was in Brazil, not knowing whether I was going to Spain or not. I was on holiday and only found out a week before that I was going to Barcelona, in January. After that, I had few opportunities and went through some bad times.»
