Rúben Dias and Cristiano Ronaldo are among the 26 nominees for the best XI of 2024 by the International Federation of Professional Footballers’ Associations (FIFPro). The vote is carried out by players from unions linked to FIFPro.
Ronaldo , who is in Saudi Arabia, and Lionel Messi, who plays for Inter Miami in the United States, are the only two players playing outside Europe who appear among the nominees.
Real Madrid , the current European champions, and Manchester City , four-time English champions, both with seven players, are the most represented clubs. Kroos, who retired after Euro 2024, is on the list.
The best ‘eleven’ of 2024 for FIFPro will be known next Monday, December 9th.
