Fenerbahçe coach José Mourinho expressed a positive opinion towards foreign referees taking over VAR duties in the Turkish league.
“It can’t be worse than before. It’s impossible for it to be worse than before. I view this situation positively, let’s wait and see», said the Portuguese coach on the subject, after the team beat Kasimpasa 3-0, in the first game of Group B of the Turkish Cup.
Regarding the meeting, he said: “It was a strange game. I told my players, ‘We have nothing to gain, but we have a lot to lose.’ What we had to do was win the game and respect the young players.”
