The Portuguese coach received praise from Paolo Scaroni, president of Milan , who admitted that he was not surprised by the former FC Porto ‘s immediate success at the Italian club.
«If I was waiting? I must say that I expected it a little, because he has this character, but it seems to me that everything is going in a good direction. Let’s hope it continues”, he told journalists, upon leaving the Serie A Assembly , also speaking about his objectives for this season.
«We have many. We want to continue in the Champions League , of course, and also in Serie A we have to do better, there’s no doubt. I’ve always said that being in the Champions League next year is fundamental”, he concluded.
