Leipzig sign star from PSG for €80 million deal
Leipzig secured the permanent signing of Xavi Simons from PSG on Thursday for a package worth 80 million euros.
Xavi Simons will become a permanent Leipzig player after the German club reached an agreement with PSG for an 80 million euro package, BILD reported, with Fabrizio Romano confirming. The Dutch midfielder is already at Leipzig, but was on loan.
The same source states that this is an initial fee of 55 million euros plus 25 million euros in variables, which makes the package worth 80 million euros. It is also mentioned that Xavi Simons will have a contract valid until June 2027.
This season Xavi Simons has five goals and three assists in 17 matches.
