Mathys Tel rejects Tottenham but still has Premier League interest
French forward wants to leave Bayern on loan, not permanently
Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel has rejected a move to Tottenham , leading European sports publications report.
Despite Spurs being willing to sign him permanently for around €60 million and chairman Daniel Levy himself travelling to Munich to convince the player to accept the deal, the young Frenchman decided not to move to the Premier League side .
This means that other interested clubs, also from the Premier League , remain in the running, such as Chelsea , Arsenal , Manchester United and Aston Villa , all looking to strengthen their attack.
The latest reports suggest that Tel would prefer a loan move rather than leaving Bayern permanently. Developments on the 19-year-old’s transfer are expected in the coming hours.
