Rashford breaks silence after swapping Manchester United for Aston Villa
Forward says it was an “easy choice” and guarantees that he “just wants to play football”
Marcus Rashford left a message on social media reacting to the arrival at Aston Villa , on loan from Manchester United , of Ruben Amorim.
“I would like to thank Manchester United and Aston Villa for making this loan happen. I was lucky enough to have a few clubs interested, but Aston Villa was an easy choice. I admire the way Aston Villa have played this season and the manager’s ambition. I just want to play soccer and I’m excited to get started. I wish everyone at Manchester United the best of luck for the rest of the season,” he wrote.
The English international striker had been left out of the Red Devils ‘ last few games at the discretion of Ruben Amorim. He scored seven goals and provided three assists in 24 appearances for the Old Trafford outfit in the first half of the season.
