Tottenham centre-back out of action this season
Radu Dragusin suffered serious injury in Tottenham’s UEFA Europa League defeat to Elfsborg

Bad news for Tottenham and, in particular, for Radu Dragusin . The 23-year-old centre-back has suffered a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee and will not play again this season, and will certainly be out of action for the next six months, as some injuries of this type can keep players out of action for up to a year.
The 23-year-old suffered the injury during Tottenham ‘s UEFA Europa League win over Elfsborg , having been substituted in the 66th minute after coming on at half-time. The Romanian international will now undergo surgery.
Dragusin arrived at Tottenham from Genoa for €30 million in January 2024. This season, his second in London, he was establishing himself as one of Ange Postecoglou’s choices, making 21 starts in Spurs’ last 23 games.
The Londoners now have one less option for a central defender position that was already weakened, following Cristián Romero ‘s injury .
