Transfer Market: Sergio Ramos has a new club
Central defender moves to Mexico, where he will play for Monterrey. He will wear the number 93

Sergio Ramos has been officially announced as a reinforcement for Mexican side Monterrey, whose squad includes players such as Jesús Corona , Óliver Torres and Ocampos .
The 38-year-old centre-back has signed a one-year deal with the team coached by former player Martín Demichelis. The Spanish international will wear the number 93, in honour of the minute he scored the goal in the UEFA Champions League final in Lisbon, at the Estádio da Luz, in 2014, which forced extra time against Atlético Madrid. The Merengues were the stronger side and won 4-1, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring from the penalty spot.
Sergio Ramos has been without a club since the summer, when he left Sevilla for his second spell at the club. The experienced footballer has been linked with Boca Juniors, MLS, Saudi Arabia and Brazil, but his future lies with Monterrey.
This will be Sergio Ramos’ fourth experience, after Seville, where he was trained, Real Madrid (16 seasons and 671 official matches) and PSG. He has also played 180 matches for the Spanish national team.
