It all happened on Sunday, in Madrid, during a youth team game.

Madrid’s emergency services released the case on Monday, a story with a truly happy ending. During a youth game at the Moratalaz sports center in the Spanish capital, a 29-year-old referee suffered a cardiac arrest.
Emergency services were immediately called, but the players’ actions on the field until the medical team arrived proved essential, with the youngsters performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers while the assistance vehicle moved to the scene.
With emergency medical professionals already present, the use of a defibrillator helped save the life of the young referee, who had been unconscious and had no pulse, but who ended up being reconnected to life, and was then transported to a hospital unit to receive additional care.
