“Bellingham was disrespectful,” says Barcelona coach Hansi Flick
He criticized Jude Bellingham’s attitude after he was sent off in Real Madrid’s draw with Osasuna.
Barcelona coach Hansi Flick commented, in a press conference ahead of the Catalans’ clash with Rayo Vallecano, on the attitude of Real Madrid player Jude Bellingham in the Merengues’ 1-1 draw with Osasuna last Saturday:
“It’s disrespectful, but I’m not the right person to speak out on this matter. I tell my players: ‘What’s the point of wasting time and energy arguing with the referee about the decisions he makes?’ There’s one player, the captain, who has the right to speak to the referee. It’s a disadvantage for the team when there’s a sending-off.”
Jude Bellingham was sent off in Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw with Osasuna last Saturday and, after being shown the red card, he is said to have insulted the match referee. In Spain, there is debate as to whether the English midfielder uttered the expressions “F*** you” or “F*** off”, aka “F***-te” or “F***-se”.
