Manchester United fell short once again, but at least they picked up a point after a good fightback. Rúben Amorim’s team drew 2-2 with Everton on Saturday, away from home, after going two goals down. Beto and Doucouré scored for the home team, and Bruno Fernandes and Ugarte equalized for the visitors.

United’s performance on Saturday once again showed that coach Rúben Amorim has not yet managed to get his team in order. The Manchester team had a well-below-average first half and was dominated by Everton, who have been improving in the Premier League. Beto and Doucouré opened the scoring 2-0 for the home team, who were stopped by Onana’s saves. In the second half, Amorim’s changes took effect and United improved. However, they only managed to score after set pieces, with Bruno Fernandes taking a free kick straight at goal, and Ugarte taking advantage of a rebound after a cross.
