Having shared a dressing room with Cristiano Ronaldo for nine seasons at Real Madrid , at the end of the match between Al Ittiahd and Al Hilal (4-1), Karim Benzema was questioned by TNT about the Al Nassr star’s statements in which he claimed to be the best and most complete player in history.
Al-Ittihad ‘s French forward admitted that he prefers another star with the same name who also represented Real Madrid: «I think everyone can say what they want. If he thinks he is the best in history, then he is. It depends, for me, for example, the best is Ronaldo from Brazil.»
“I don’t like to make comparisons between players, each one has their own story, he has his and it’s a very good one,” highlighted Benzema , who is competing with Cristiano Ronaldo for the Saudi League’s top scorer award . In the 21st round, the two stars are tied with 16 goals scored each.
Al-Ittiahd lead the Saudi Premier League with 55 points, seven more than second-placed Al-Hilal and eleven more than Al-Nassr, who occupy fourth position in the table.
