Fulham wins on penalties and eliminates Manchester United from the FA Cup
Lindelof and Zirkzee miss penalties as United bow out of FA Cup at last 16

FULHAM WINS ON PENALTIES
Fulham beat Manchester United on Sunday to advance to the FA Cup quarter-finals. After a 1-1 draw in normal time, Fulham beat United in a penalty shootout. Lindelof and Zirkzee were the players who missed their shots.
1 TO 1 IN NORMAL TIME
Manchester United started the first half better and were superior for the first 20 minutes of the match. Fulham then improved their performance and threatened the home side. Lukic missed a good chance to open the scoring, and United also had their moments. In the 45th minute, Bassey took advantage of a rebound from a corner kick and scored for Fulham. 1-0 to the visitors in the first half.
In the second half, United went after the result and managed to equalize in the 25th minute through Bruno Fernandes. The draw could have encouraged Manchester to seek a comeback, but little was seen from a team that seemed comfortable with the 1-1 draw. They failed to warn that this was a knockout game. Fulham once again played better, but were stopped by goalkeeper Onana, who took the game to penalties. In the last minute, Garnacho missed a chance one-on-one with Leno.
EXTRA TIME AND PENALTIES
The draw sent the game into extra time. Both teams had good chances in extra time, but Onana and Leno shone to keep the score at 1-1. In the penalty shootout, Lindelof and Zirkzee were both saved by Leno. With the score at 4-3, Fulham advanced in the FA Cup.
