The Bayern goalkeeper overdid his celebrations after Musiala ‘s goal in the 54th minute, which made it 2-0, and even had to be substituted.
The club revealed the injury this Thursday morning, which has already been properly examined. «Manuel Neuer has suffered a ruptured muscle fibre in the calf of his right leg, which was detected following tests carried out by Bayern’s medical department. This means that the goalkeeper is out of the competition for now,” says a statement from the Bavarian club, which does not give any downtime.
Jonas Urbig, signed in this winter transfer window, made his debut and will probably be the starter in the next games, namely on Saturday against Bochum .
