Tottenham drew 2-2 at home to Bournemouth this Sunday , in a game counting towards the 28th round of the Premier League , in a match in which Spurs were losing by two goals.

Andoni Iraola’s team took the lead in the 42nd minute, when full-back Milos Kerkez made his way down the left flank and collected a great cross that was met by Marcus Tavernier at the far post.

The Cherries’ second goal, in the 65th minute, also started with Kerkez, who passed inside to Justin Kluivert. The Dutchman quickly isolated Evanilson, who chilled the Tottenham fans even more.

However, Spurs managed to reduce the deficit just two minutes later, through Pape Sarr, who fired in a beautiful goal from outside the area, regardless of whether he intended to cross or shoot.

And the home team even managed to equalise in the 84th minute, thanks to a penalty converted by South Korean Son Heung-min, after he himself had been fouled by goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

Ange Postecoglou’s team continues to have a Premier League performance that is far below expectations, currently occupying 13th place, with 34 points won, after having only recorded their fourth draw in the competition.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, continue in a titanic battle with several teams with ambitions of reaching European competitions, and are now in eighth place, with 44 points, two behind Brighton, in sixth place.
