HOW WAS THE GAME?
The first half was heading for a goalless draw when the visitors scored three times in just seven minutes of the final stretch. In the 34th minute, the ball bounced into the box after a Forest corner. Delap tried to clear it and gave it to Milenkovic to shoot straight at goal. Elanga charged in from the middle in the 37th minute, entered the box from the right and shot into the corner of the goal past the Ipswich goalkeeper. The number 21 scored another in the 41st minute, after Milenkovic sent a shot from the defense straight to the midfield, which the defenders were unable to intercept. Elanga controlled the ball with his head, entered the box and finished.
After the break, Cajuste received a pass from Clarke on the edge of the penalty area in the 36th minute, turned to get away from his marker and struck a fine shot to reduce the deficit for Ipswich. Nottingham added another five minutes later on the counter-attack. Gibbs-White received the ball deep and passed to Jota Silva , who broke free down the right and beat the keeper. In injury time, O’Shea crossed from midfield into the box and Hirst beat his marker to head home.
