Atlético Madrid impatient with João Félix’s situation at Barcelona
Barcelona wants to keep the Portuguese striker, but does not have the financial capacity to support the demands of the ‘colchoneros’.
Given João Félix’s good start at Barcelona, president Joan Laporta has already revealed that he would like to keep the Portuguese international, who is on loan from Atlético Madrid, on a permanent basis.
However, for now, the leader of the Catalans has not yet come up with a concrete proposal, a situation that is making the ‘colchoneros’ impatient, who intend to sell Félix as soon as possible.
According to Radio Marca, contributing to this climate of anxiety will be the suspicion that the striker has already signed a ‘pact’ with Barcelona, in order to refuse any other proposal that, in the meantime, reaches his hands.
Remember that Atlético Madrid only admits selling the ex-Benfica player for at least 70 million euros. A sum that Barcelona is unable to pay, but which they believe will eventually decrease, closer to the end of the season.
