Striker Thomas Müller criticized his own teammates. The player, who is one of the team’s idols and main players, was not happy to see that only a few athletes went to greet the fans present at the stadium.
According to him, the fact that only three or four players went to greet the fans was a lack of respect.

“As is almost always the case, fans care more about just the result and the game. In football you can lose a game. What is not acceptable is that only three or four players understand how to respect the fans. They came here I don’t know how many kilometers to support us. The least you can do is give back in some way ,” he said.
Müller, Kimmich, Sarr, Tel and Sané went to the section of the Ludwigspark stadium where the Bayern Munich fans were present. According to the captain, the subject was already being discussed in the dressing room before the game against Saarbrücken.
“ It’s not about applauding 100 times and singing the songs. It’s about showing respect. We already discussed this once in the locker room. We will show something different in the future. This is unacceptable” , explained Müller.
