Leandro Trossard is a Belgian footballer who plays as a left winger, second striker or center forward. He currently plays for Arsenal, in the Premier League, and for the Belgian national team. Trossard was born in Genk, Belgium on 4 December 1994. He began his career with local club Genk, where he played for their youth teams before making his professional debut in 2013. In 2015, Trossard was loaned to Oud-Heverlee Leuven, where he had a good season and scored 12 goals in 35 games. After his loan, Trossard returned to Genk and helped the club win the Belgian Pro League title in the 2018–19 season. In 2019, Trossard transferred to Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion.
In his first season at Brighton, Trossard was one of the team’s most consistent players, scoring 10 goals in 38 games. In the 2020–21 season, Trossard continued to improve his game and scored 10 goals in 37 games. Trossard also became a regular player for the Belgian national team.
