Arteta updates Arsenal’s injury situation and talks about Gabriel Jesus

This Thursday, coach Mikel Arteta spoke at a press conference about the situation of the players in Arsenal ‘s medical department . The coach confirmed that Gabriel Jesus is healthy.

The Brazilian striker was left out of the English club’s last five games before being made available to Arteta in the match against Newcastle last weekend. Gabriel watched Arsenal’s 4-1 victory from the bench.

The Spanish coach explained the reason for leaving the player on the bench. “We didn’t want to take any risks after the result we had against Newcastle. Obviously we need him healthy. He is a very important player for us and now I want to make sure we manage the load in the right way.”
