Football lovers recently had access to the ranking of the 10 most valued coaches on the planet, shared by UOL Esporte on its YouTube channel.

Surprisingly, no Brazilian coach stood out on the list, while the Argentines demonstrated their supremacy, with three professionals among the highest paid annually.

Despite not having won recent World Cup titles , Italian coaches are well represented, with three names in the rankings, the same number of coaches from the country that currently holds the title of world champion.

Meanwhile, Germany , Spain and the United Kingdom also feature on the list, with two representatives from Germany and one from each of the other countries mentioned.

List leader

Diego Simeone , coach of Atlético de Madrid since December 2011, was highlighted as the leader of the list as the highest paid coach in world football.

Earning an impressive sum of 34 million euros per season, his monthly salary exceeds that of even the highest-paid players in Europe . Simeone recently renewed his contract, extending his contract until 2027.

These numbers clearly reveal current trends in the technician market, showing how certain nationalities have dominated the highest levels, while others face challenges in standing out.
