Liverpool makes offer to coach to take over from Klopp
Liverpool already has a name to take over from Jürgen Klopp , who will leave the club at the end of the season . This is former midfielder Xabi Alonso , current commander of Bayer Leverkusen , leader of the German Championship .
According to information from the German newspaper B ild , the Reds board has already submitted an official proposal to Iñaki Ibáñez, the Spanish coach’s agent.

Xabi has a contract with the German team until 2026, but is identified with Liverpool, where he played between 2004 and 2009 and won, among other titles, the 2005 Champions League .
The former midfielder is one of the most popular coaches today due to his good work at Bayer Leverkusen.
