Bayern Munich made two ‘crazy’ offers for Barcelona star

Eric Dier arrived at Bayern Munich, in the past winter transfer market, on loan from Tottenham, after being linked to interest from Sporting. However, the favorite target for reinforcing the center of defense was another.
According to information published in this Friday’s edition of the Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo , the Bavarian team tried by all means to convince Barcelona to give up Ronald Araújo, with two ‘crazy’ proposals, which ended up, however, be rejected.
The defending German champions will have started by offering 70 million euros, plus 20 million euros in bonuses, for the Uruguayan international’s pass, having then upped the ante to 80 million euros, plus ten million euros in bonuses .
The Catalans nevertheless remained firm in their decision to keep the 25-year-old player. The next step will be to renew the current contract, which remains valid until June 2026 and includes a termination clause worth one billion euros.
