Erik ten Hag is “excited” to face Manchester City

Manchester United, coached by Erik ten Hag, have expressed how the Red Devils feel about visiting Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium.
The Manchester derby looked to be shaping up for an interesting clash between Erling Haaland and Rasmus Hojlund until United’s in-form striker suffered a muscle injury.

Manchester City have won five of their last six games against their local rivals in all competitions, scoring 18 goals. Haaland has developed a fondness for playing against United, scoring five times in four games – including a hat-trick at the Etihad last season.

“We are also in a good phase. This period is very good, we are united. We are together and making a good game plan. We have already had success against City and also recently against Liverpool, so we will prepare well,” said Erik ten Hag told reporters on Thursday.

“The players are ready and looking forward to it. I can feel it. I’m around here and I talk to the players, so we’re really looking forward to it and excited,” he concluded
