Historic milestone achieved against Sparta Prague
Liverpool ‘s second accurate shot against Sparta Prague , scored by Darwin Núñez , was the Reds ‘ 1000th goal since Jurgen Klopp’s arrival at Anfield, as the club noted on social media.
The historic milestone was reached in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Europa League , 476th game for the German coach at the Beatles’ hometown club, where he arrived in 2015/16 from Dortmund.
The Merseyside emblem reminds us that Klopp has more European games (88) than any other coach in the club’s history and that the Europa League is the only trophy that has eluded him since taking over at Liverpool
