Manchester City are preparing a new contract for Phil Foden
Foden has scored 18 goals this season and, according to ‘Football Insider’, the Etihad Stadium club are willing to recognize his excellent recent performances.
Phil Foden is the man of the moment. The 23-year-old scored two goals in the Manchester derby that will go down in history, but that wasn’t his only achievement this season.
With 18 goals and nine assists in 41 competitive appearances – some of them in crucial games for the Sky Blues, the 23-year-old has excelled. As a result, the Manchester City board is preparing a new contract for him as a reward for his excellent recent performances. The Englishman could become one of the highest paid players in Pep Guardiola’s squad.
Foden’s current contract expires in 2027, but the English club are keen to keep him for several seasons. He has worn City’s colors since 2016, both in the youth and first team categories
