Manchester City star could say goodbye to the club next season
Club seeks to negotiate some of its athletes
Manchester City is focused on assembling its squad for next season, even as it fights for the Premier League title .
Managers are already aware that they will have to get rid of some athletes to fit into Financial Fair Play, and may have to give up important pieces.
In search of great revenue, the board may be going through its squad with a fine-toothed comb in the coming months.
One of the players who can say goodbye to the citizens is midfielder Jack Grealish, Pep Guardiola’s great favorite.
Goodbye, Grealish?
HITC reports that Manchester City could be trading for Jack Grealish in the next transfer window.
Pep Guardiola’s team has had difficulty complying with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play, and could suffer major penalties. Some rivals are calling for citizens to lose points, which have not yet been reported by the British federation.
Wanting to save money to get out of the red, the club’s board is studying the possibility of a possible sale of Grealish. Despite the midfielder being a regular on the team, directors believe he would be the most obvious option for a sale at the moment.
Until then, no club has shown interest in signing the Englishman. The expectation is that this will only happen as the European summer transfer window approaches
