Real Madrid will appeal against Bellingham’s red card

According to reports in Spain, Real Madrid will appeal the red card Jude Bellingham received in the 2-2 draw against Valencia on Saturday.
Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti said his team were “upset” after midfielder Jude Bellingham was sent off following the controversial final whistle in the 2-2 draw against Valencia in LaLiga.

“What bothers us is the red card for Bellingham, because he didn’t utter any insult. He was frustrated, of course,” said Ancelotti, adding that Bellingham used a bad word in English when telling the referee that the goal was valid.

As a result, the Spanish giants will appeal the red card received by the English star, in order to be able to count on him in the next decisive LaLiga games.

Madrid’s second draw in three league games will leave them seven points clear of second-placed Girona, who face Mallorca this Sunday.

On Wednesday, Ancelotti’s team hosts RB Leipzig in the second leg of the Champions League round of 16, with a 1-0 lead.
