Frenchman Zinédine Zidane has been free on the ball market for some time now . He, who left Real Madrid in 2021, has been speculated about in several teams.

And, the most recent of them, is Bayern Munich , which, in a bad phase, is considering dismissing Thomas Tuchel at the end of this European football season .

According to journalist Floria Plettenberg , the Frenchman is one of the German board’s favorite names and should receive a formal proposal in the middle of the year .

However, it seems that the famous coach seems to have other plans and objectives to continue his career as a football coach.
Zidane reveals where he would like to work

This is because, in an interview with DAZN , the former Real Madrid coach was asked about returning to the sidelines and revealed that he would like to work in Italy:

“ I would like to be a coach in Italy one day. I’m not a coach at the moment, but I like Italy and I like the fact that they [fans] love football there .”

The coach even went further and revealed that he learned a lot from the Italian coaches he had during his career, even citing Carlo Ancelotti :

“ As a coach, I learned a lot from Lippi and Carlo Ancelotti. Lippi was the first coach who really believed in me. He brought me to Juve and I became the player I was thanks to him .”
