Chelsea thrash Everton thanks to another extraordinary performance from Cole Palmer

21-year-old midfielder took up ‘poker’ and is already, along with Haaland, the best scorer in the Premier League
With a super Cole Palmer in the spotlight, Chelsea thrashed Everton , in the 33rd round of the Premier League .

Words are starting to run out to explain what Cole Palmer has done at Chelsea this season. Against Everton , with Beto , starter, André Gomes , João Virgínia and Chermiti , 28 minutes were enough for the English midfielder to show why he is, perhaps, the best player currently in the Premier League .

In the 13th minute, with his left foot, five minutes later, with maximum sense of opportunity in a reload and in the 28th minute, with a shot from the middle of the street, the English international scored the hat-trick . Half an hour of total coolness from Ice Cole , which reduced any chance the Toffees had of scoring to absolute zero.

In the first half, there was nothing but blues at Stamford Bridge, but the last 15 minutes were a descent into reality, with the defense leaving some gaps. Beto scored, but offside. Even at the end of the first half, Nicolas Jackson made it 4-0 with a beautiful technical gesture.

The troubled times we live in West London are not going away. This is because the fifth goal – which resulted in Cole Palmer ‘s poker and made him, along with Haaland , the Premier League ‘s top scorer – was covered by the discussion between the Englishman, Jackson and Madueke , over the right to take the penalty. The forward even had to be calmed down by his colleagues, under the watchful (and disapproving) gaze of Mauricio Pochettino.
All this said, and with a goal from Gilchrist to seal the victory, Chelsea added three more points, with Cole Palmer breaking a record: it is the first time that a player has scored in seven consecutive games at Stamford Bridge.
