Dortmund player scammed out of more than 1 million euros
Dortmund midfielder Marius Wolf is preparing for what promises to be a tough battle in German justice. The German international claims he was scammed out of 1.4 million euros.
According to BILD, the German international will face in court, on April 11th, a man who he accuses of having promised him numerous and large financial profits from investments, which ended up not existing.
The same source claims that Wolf was a victim of the scam between September 6, 2017 and March 7, 2019, when he was at Frankfurt and, later, Dortmund .
Marius Wolf ‘s career has been a rollercoaster. He was loaned, in 2016, with an option to buy by Hannover to Frankfurt , later moving to Dortmund , with whom he played just one full season until being loaned to Hertha Berlin , in 2019/20. He returned to Dortmund , was loaned again to Cologne in 2020/21 and, since then, has settled at the Auri-Negro club for good.
