Vinicius Jr. is the target of insults by Barcelona fans before the game against PSG
Player is not even linked to the match; The Catalan club hosts PSG this Tuesday, while Real Madrid, the Brazilian’s club, plays this Wednesday, against City, in England
Brazilian Vinicius Jr. was once again the target of offenses in Spain, this time by fans of Barcelona, the Brazilian’s great rival Real Madrid. A few hours before the start of this Tuesday’s Champions League match, when the Catalan team hosts PSG, a group of fans were caught singing “Vinicius, die”, as they waited for the Barcelona delegation to arrive.
According to the local press, “several fans repeated once again what they had already done before playing against Napoli in the round of 16 of the Champions League”, another recent episode of racism in European football.
Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain face each other this Tuesday, at 4pm, in the second match of the quarter-finals of the Champions League. The game will be at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, in Barcelona, Spain. After the Catalans’ 3-2 victory, the Blaugrana have the advantage in the match. Whoever qualifies will face Borussia Dortmund (Germany) or Atlético de Madrid (Spain) in the semi-finals.
