Bundesliga: Borussia Dortmund already has a replacement for Hummels
Waldemar Anton is close to arriving at Signal Iduna Park, coming from Stuttgart
After the departure of Mats Hummels , Borussia Dortmund are close to signing Stuttgart central defender Waldemar Anton , reports German newspaper Ruhr Nachrichten .
The same source adds that the Dortmund team will pay the 27-year-old player’s release clause, set at 22.5 million euros. It will only become official after Euro 2024, where Anton is representing Germany.

Trained at Hannover, Anton has been in Stuttgart for four seasons . This season, he played 37 games for the German runners-up. After Ito ‘s departure to Bayern , Stuttgart could now lose their second defender in this transfer market, again to a direct rival.
