Portugal secured their place in the round of 16 of the European Championship, this Saturday, by defeating Turkey, 3-0, at Signal Iduna Park, in Dortmund. As a result of a confident performance, the selection of the corners also secured first place in group F.
It all started when Bernardo Silva decided to break a ‘mistake’ on a personal level, in the 21st minute, making his debut scoring for Portugal in major national team competitions, which was followed by a surreal own goal and Akaydin (28′) leaving the Portuguese in new euphoric celebrations.
In the second half, Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal for Bruno Fernandes and, in a highly consistent match, Portugal confirmed the throne of group F, so, after facing Georgia on the 26th of June, they already know that they will compete in the round of 16 ‘ on the first day of July.
