Former Cameroonian international dies aged 38
Landry N’Guémo succumbed to injuries caused by a road accident
World football is mourning the death of Landry N’Guémo, a 38-year-old former Cameroonian international.
According to L’Équipe , the former player, who played for clubs such as Nancy, Celtic, Bordeaux and Saint-Étienne, succumbed to injuries caused by an accident involving a truck in his home country, where he had been living since leaving the Norwegian lawns of Kongsvinger, in 2019.
Landry N’Guémo represented the Cameroon national team on more than 40 occasions, having participated in the 2010 and 2014 World Cups.
